Richard is known as The Brand Guy and has been ranked in the Global Top 30 Brand Gurus since 2014 (ranked 13th in 2025). 

He has been the brand and communication strategy lead at some of the world’s greatest advertising agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, DDB, McCann Erickson) as well as in his own business, on global brands (Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Levis, Streets, Toyota, Nescafe, Vodafone, Brother, Bacardi, Hyundai, Nurofen) to Australian brands (Arnott’s, CSIRO, QBE, Penfolds, Mortein, Surf Lifesaving Australia, Milo, Tourism Australia, Mortgage Choice) to start-ups (The Gradient Institute, ExoFlare, T-shirt Ventures). 

He works closely with CEOs and executives, as well as HR and Marketing teams, to reboot and reshape their brands and communications.

He has developed the brand and communications strategy for over 200 brands and 100 organisations throughout his career, spanning every business category and nearly every market segment.

Aaron is the founder of Brand First Digital and leads operations, client relationship management, and service positioning. For over 12 years, he has worked with clients across Australia and internationally, guiding strategic delivery across industries and ensuring the team meets high-impact client targets.

With deep expertise in aligning marketing initiatives to measurable business outcomes, Aaron focuses on strategies that generate real results from increased client acquisition to tangible revenue growth. He brings clarity to digital services, tying them directly to commercial value in a way few marketing firms can.
